SPECIAL MEETING – MADDEN ROOM  - 7:00 P.M.

PZC-sponsored amendment: Restricted Commercial zone, proposed amendment to “Section 5.1 Restricted Commercial permitted uses”, to add “Section 5.1.3 Design Requirements” for all proposed uses; and to modify “Section 5.1.2.4 Restaurant, exclusive of entertainment”, to add the requirements of “Section 5.1.4 Additional requirements for fast food restaurants”

The Commission had a work session prior to the public hearing.

PUBLIC HEARING  - COUNCIL CHAMBERS – 8:00 P.M.

Chairman Wentzell opened the public hearing at 8:00 p.m.  Commissioner Choate read the legal notice as published in the Journal Inquirer.

Appl 04-39P, Gerlt In-Law Apartment, request for a 5-year in law apartment permit for property located at 318 Felt Road, AA-30 zone

Attorney Wayne Gerlt presented to the Commission a proposal for an in-law apartment located at 318 Felt Road.  The public hearing closed.

PZC-sponsored amendment: Restricted Commercial zone, proposed amendment to “Section 5.1 Restricted Commercial permitted uses”, to add “Section 5.1.3 Design Requirements” for all proposed uses; and to modify “Section 5.1.2.4 Restaurant, exclusive of entertainment”, to add the requirements of “Section 5.1.4 Additional requirements for fast food restaurants”

The Commission discussed and reviewed the Restricted Commercial zone.  There was public participation for this item.  The public hearing remained opened.

The motion carried
